Four pieces in three weeks? I'm spoiling you guys! (Or just getting my butt in gear. XD)

I'm sure you can tell, but I actually did most of this over the summer, and just finished up the last three tonight. Boy, do I feel slow. ^^; I think I can see some improvement, though; the later sketches look much less stiff, which is nice. Initially I tried to make Aryn more reserved in her body language, like how men tend to act. But by the end I kind of went "Screw it!" and just hand fun with it. I hope you enjoy it! :D

Some of these expressions I drew with certain goals in mind; for example, I knew exactly how I wanted to portray Happy and Sad even before I got started, but ones like Indignant or Content took some thought. And some just kept fighting me along the way (see Discouraged; notice all those eraser marks? Took me ages to finally get that, even with a clear image in my head!) And while you'll probably never see some of these expressions in canon (like Love or Hysteria), this was still tons of fun to do.

I'm proud to say that I did most of these from my head, and only took bits and pieces of gestures and poses from reference photos, especially for expressions I had no clue how to draw (Love being the hardest one to think up). Here are the credits, if you're curious:

Yeah, Rage is one of my favs, too, but that hand took freaking forever--I swear I was erasing through the paper by the time I got it right. XD
